I booked a vehicle on Sunday, June 1st, for the same day. I went to the designated location to pick up the vehicle. It was closed and didn't display the rental company's sign. Customer service wasn't answering my phone or email. I couldn't pick up the vehicle. I considered the reservation cancelled. Six months later, City Drop charged me a cancellation fee of €199 without having directly informed me of this clause, which was carefully hidden in the terms and conditions, even though I hadn't completed the booking process and paid the deposit. This practice is abusive and deceptive. I filed a complaint, but it was ignored.

Avoid at all costs. I should have checked the reviews before agreeing to rent a vehicle from them. The vehicle was in terrible condition: no rearview mirror, no turn signals, the engine made a worrying noise, and the windshield wipers didn't work, even though it was pouring rain. When I returned the van, the app wasn't working. I called them, they didn't answer, and they overcharged me. I filed complaints, but nothing happened upon return.

Worst experience of my life. Avoid at all costs! My truck had a leak, and City Drop didn't have a replacement truck the same size. Their mechanic told me to add oil and continue the journey. I informed them, and they said I would be reimbursed. But then they refused to reimburse me and offered no compensation whatsoever for the leak. My advice: stay away!

I had a slight difficulty finding the appointment link for the return at the Swiss border (Geneva), but everything was fine, the deposit was returned quickly. Thank you very much!

Absolutely avoid this service! I rented a truck in a deplorable state. No one answered when I reported the problem. I broke down with that same truck and endured a two-hour ordeal during a move—you can imagine the stress! No one competent answered the phone; when I did get through, it was to tell me to rent a truck at Super U. I filed a complaint that took a month. They made me an offer, but they were clearly mocking me. I don't usually do this kind of thing, but seriously, if you go somewhere else, go for it. This company shouldn't even exist anymore.
