Truck rented for a move from Paris to Valence in a dangerous condition: broken right turn signal, ineffective windshield wipers in the rain, underinflated tires, and an extremely dirty interior. Driving at night was very stressful, with a vehicle clearly not up to standard. Customer service was contacted during the rental period: the only response was to do the repairs ourselves. After complaining, we received a €60 refund out of €400, without any attempt at self-reflection, and with unprofessional responses. A complete lack of professionalism and consideration for customer safety. Avoid at all costs.

Pros: The car is great: spacious, and clean. Cons: Pick-up was slow and messy because the app kept crashing (happened to others). Most importantly, I was very disappointed by the insurance policy. I paid an extra (+29€!!) for a premium insurance and made a scratch. Yet, it was not covered since bottom and top parts of the car are not. This was written in small letters in the contract. Really absurd!

The app provides excellent guidance and is easy to use. The vehicle was clean and pleasant to drive; I couldn't find a better price. I highly recommend it; the one-way concept with pick-up and drop-off points in various regions is truly fantastic. I would definitely use it again if needed.

I have no complaints about the City-Drop rental itself; however, I am extremely dissatisfied with their customer service. I contacted them on the very day of my reservation due to a bug in the website and app. Despite paying over €100 to rent the truck for a second day, this extension didn't appear in my booking details or even in the app, and I received absolutely NO confirmation email regarding the extension. Customer service refused to acknowledge the issue, claiming that a confirmation email had been sent in their system, but that I still hadn't received it. I had therefore ended my truck reservation early to avoid any problems with City-Drop (again, as far as I was concerned, the reservation wasn't valid). They refused to refund me for the second day or even offer any kind of compensation, even though I was never able to use the truck on the second day. I find this really unfair and unethical of City-Drop, so I won't be using their rental service again. I'd give them zero stars if I could.

Excellent service, especially the impeccable telephone support. The only slight drawback is the overall condition of the vehicle, which leaves something to be desired. The pick-up and drop-off locations are convenient. The photo-based pick-up and return processes are well-organized. I was a little apprehensive at first, but in the end, the service was very good.

One star just because your drivers drive like maniacs on the road. I sincerely hope the driver I passed this Saturday around 7:40 pm leaving Provins crosses paths with a herd of wild boar 😙
