⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We rented a truck from City-Drop for our move, and it was our first time using their self-rental service. I admit I had a few minor apprehensions at first, but everything went very smoothly in the end! We had a quick question and called customer service. We spoke to a truly lovely, friendly, and helpful woman. The entire rental process went perfectly from start to finish. A simple and hassle-free experience. We 100% recommend City-Drop and wouldn't hesitate to use them again! 😊

I highly recommend this rental company. They were fantastic in every way! The truck was excellent, and the pick-up and drop-off were seamless and easy. Our move went very smoothly, and a special mention goes to the customer service, which was incredibly responsive and friendly. We are truly delighted!

I'm very satisfied with this service. My move from Toulouse to Quimper in Brittany went without a hitch. I only rented the truck a week in advance, so it was readily available. The instructions were very clear, from the app to the return. I didn't need to contact customer service personally. The deposit was returned within the stated timeframe, and the service was very responsive when I picked up the truck myself. We don't move every month, but I would definitely recommend this service to friends and family.

I rented a City Drop truck for the third time (!!!)…the first two experiences were perfect! The trucks were clean, in good condition, and reasonably priced. However, the third time was a much worse experience. The truck was "worn out," and while driving on the highway, I realized the left rear turn signal wasn't working! The truck was dirty inside and out, dented all over, the key was in pieces, and the steering wheel was very wobbly above 100 km/h. Yes…I did arrive…but even the map for returning the vehicle was outdated…and I drove around quite a bit before finding the right spot. And all this for a rental price that had become far too expensive compared to my first two experiences. Yes, at that price, I expect the rented truck to be in perfect condition!

The truck we picked up had a slow leak in the front left tire when we received it. The only solution offered was to change the tire myself, without any apology, explanation, or compensation. We lost a lot of time on our move and took risks driving before realizing the tire was indeed flat—very poor service considering the rental price.

The booking process was fairly simple and the price reasonable for a one-way rental. We encountered a few bugs with the app, which kept crashing when we tried to pick up the vehicle. A few points we wanted to mention: the parking lot where we picked up the vehicle was closed for an event, but we hadn't been informed beforehand. One of the headlights was out of order. The non-refundable fuel system was a significant drawback, as the fuel gauge was practically empty when we picked up the vehicle. Finally, the problem with City-Drop was resolved, but it caused us considerable stress: we received an email the day before informing us that the vehicle wouldn't be available at our original pick-up location, but rather more than an hour and a half away…

A pretty good experience for a move from Tours to Vannes. The truck was in good condition, slightly dirty on the outside but functional. The brake pad warning light needed replacing, which was reported at the end of the rental, as well as a problem with the rear turn signal wiring. Very good value for money compared to other companies (Europ... or others). The app is very well designed and functional (fuel percentage system, vehicle condition report, etc.). Perhaps a little more follow-up from you after a long rental period would be helpful. I would rent from City Drop again when needed.
