Avoid this rental company as they are dishonest. They use false reasons to avoid refunding the deposit. Furthermore, their vehicles are in poor condition. In the end, the rental cost is higher than that of major rental companies.

Avoid this company at all costs, deserves 0 stars. We rented a truck for our move, which was in poor condition and broke down due to a mechanical fault completely beyond our control. We had to take a taxi to pick up another vehicle (€265.50), plus €41.17 for fuel and €9.40 in tolls paid twice (all this in the middle of the night). Their representative, Arno, assured us that these expenses would be reimbursed, which is false. We requested an immediate refund, which was refused. The calls are recorded, but apparently, they don't care. Renting out a vehicle in a substandard condition is illegal, dangerous, and completely unacceptable. It's a scam against customers. We will be initiating legal proceedings against them today to recover all our expenses.

Excellent service as usual. I'm a long-time customer and have made many one-way trips thanks to their great deal at €1. This morning, I encountered a problem with the dimensions of the rented van, and especially with the tailgate, which kept getting stuck when something was on it. I explained my problem at 8:00 AM to the first person I spoke to. This person was quite unhelpful and unsympathetic, telling me I would be charged €400 because I wouldn't return the vehicle to the correct location. However, my goal was to return it as planned in Paris and complete my trip with the equipment, which is why I came to Marseille. So I found myself without a truck, unable to get my equipment back up, and with a hefty bill for a malfunctioning tailgate (if it had worked properly, I could have maneuvered and brought in my machine, which was admittedly a bit large, but it fit once the hood was up; the inside was perfect). I called a second time and got the absolutely fantastic Mylène, who understood my problem and resolved it very quickly by giving me another truck that was also available, into which I was able to load my equipment. She even extended the rental by a few hours to compensate for the inconvenience. Mylène is a very kind and understanding person who goes above and beyond to find a solution for the customer while maintaining a strong sense of professionalism. As a business owner myself, believe me, having someone like her on the team means we do everything we can to keep her from leaving the company! A thousand thanks again to Mylène! You understood the situation and found a suitable solution; you didn't act rigidly like a robot like the first person… but no hard feelings! I will continue to rent from City Drop solely because of Mylène!!!! See you soon
